My daughter attended Woodcote from Nursery until she left in 2012. I have been a Governor at Woodcote since 2007, starting as a Parent Governor of the Infant School and continuing that role through the formation of Woodcote Primary School and am now a Co-opted Governor; I am pleased to continue to support our fantastic school! I am also a Governor at another Croydon school and a member of Croydon Councils Education Scrutiny Committee so have a good rounded view on Education matters. Professionally I work in software/telecoms and have lived locally for nearly 20 years.

I’m a recently elected parent governor and have two children attending Woodcote, one in Key Stage 1, the other in Key Stage 2. Professionally I am a director for a leading international public relations company. I believe our school should help equip our children with the life skills and knowledge they need to be the best they can be and am delighted to be a member of the governing body.

My name is Nicky Leaker and I am the Clerk to the Governing Body. Before undertaking this role in June 2014 I spent 18 years as legal secretary and senior legal P.A. I have always lived locally to Woodcote Primary and have two young children.
Mrs Nicola Leaker
Clerk to Governors

I was appointed as a Co-opted Governor in January 2015. My professional skills are centred around Education, having retired only last year following nine years of Headship at a large primary school in Croydon. During my time as Headteacher, I led the school through three very successful Ofsted Inspections. Throughout my career, I have worked in Croydon schools and my three children also went to Croydon schools. I feel privileged to be a Governor of Woodcote Primary School. I hope that through my passion for high standards of education for all children, together with my professional skills and experience, that I will be able to make a valuable contribution to the excellent work of the Governing Body.
Margaret Misson Co-opted Governor

I am a member staff at Woodcote Primary, Team Leader for the Breakfast, After-School Club and Midday Supervisors. I have worked at the school since 1999, and been a Governor for the last four years. Both my boys went to Woodcote and are now studying at University and I have lived locally in Coulsdon for a number of years.
Mrs Sally Mott Co-opted Governor
Premises, Health & Safety and Finance Governor. Term of office ends 03/09/2018

I was elected as Parent Governor in July 2017. I have two children at the school, currently in years 2 and 3. I have been a Parent Helper at the school since 2014, currently class representative for both classes, and helping with PTFA events. This has given me a useful insight into how the school functions. I’m looking forward to representing parents on the Governing Body.
Mrs Dharmista Patel Parent Governor
Role to be allocated. Term of office ends 15/09/2020

My employment record includes 17 years as a School Manager and 23 years as a Bank Manager. Both of these professions have given me valuable experience in Financial Management and Education. I have lived in Coulsdon for 31 years, belonged to many committees in the community and am very familiar with the area.
