Frequently Asked Questions

What is your catchment?

We don’t have a catchment area.  Some of our pupils come from as far as Wallington, Carshalton, Purley, South Croydon and even Thornton Heath.

I thought it was difficult to get my child into Woodcote Primary?

We are a popular school but the population of 4 and 5 year olds seeking places each year changes.  It is always worth applying for a place at Woodcote even if you live some distance away.

Aren’t a lot of places taken up by siblings?

Again, this varies from year to year.  On average about 40 of our 90 places a year go to siblings.

What if my child isn’t allocated a place at Woodcote?

We strongly recommend you keep in touch with us as spaces become available during the year and particularly in September of each year.

Is it easy to park near the school?

There is plenty of free parking directly outside the school on Dunsfold Rise.

Do you offer wrap around care?

Yes.  For children in Woodies we offer a stay for lunch and afternoon care package for a fraction of the cost of most day nurseries.  For children aged 5 and above we have a breakfast club from 7.30am and then after school club until 6pm
