Salary: Grade 3 – Scale point 15-17, £18,936 to £19,623 pa – pro rata (£11,652 – £12,075)

Woodcote Primary School is currently recruiting a Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Permanent: Level 2 Teaching Assistant 25 hrs per week

Not suitable as a job share.

We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic teaching assistant who:

  • has good numeracy / literacy skills;
  • enjoys working with children and understands how to motivate them;
  • can use their own initiative;
  • has the ability to work well with children and individuals;
  • can work constructively as part of a team;
  • has experience of working in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

Essential Knowledge

  • Completion of DfES Teacher Assistant Induction Programme.
  • NVQ 2 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualifications or experience.

The position may involve class based support or supporting an individual with their learning and small group work on occasions.
