Dear Parent/Carer

You will be aware that Ofsted visited the school and carried out an inspection  earlier this term.

Outstanding schools are not currently routinely inspected and inspections are usually the result of Ofsted’s risk assessment processes.

It is not clear what this risk assessment process takes into account but in this instance we are aware that Ofsted had received some concerns about behaviour and safeguarding at our school.

The inspection team spent 2 days  investigating behaviour & attitudes; safeguarding arrangements and culture; provision in the Early Years; Quality of Education and leadership and management.

Attached is the final report from this inspection.  We are delighted that the inspection team found no concerns about any of the areas investigated during the inspection thus reaffirming the view that Woodcote remains an Outstanding School.

We would like to thank you and your children for your continuing confidence and support of our school and feel sure that the report will have confirmed for many of you what you already know and feel about the school.
