We are working to ensure that good attendance is a priority for our families, children and staff, to support our children in achieving their best outcomes. If you feel you need any support with your child’s attendance please contact Ms Smith, our attendance officer. firstname.lastname@example.org

What is a Race Night?
It’s a fun social evening which involves light-hearted low risk betting on horse races, with some booze, food and extra games thrown in.
What do I get for my £5 entry?
A delicious slice of Papa John’s Pizza and 1 free bet. And a good night.
Can I buy food and drink on the night?
Yes! We will have more pizza to buy at £1 a slice and a well-stocked bar at reasonable prices.
Do I need to be able to ride a horse?
No, there are no real horses. The races are pre-recorded and will be shown on a big screen.
How many horses per race?
There will be 8 horses per race and you can bet on one or more of them
How much is a bet?
£1 per bet per horse. There is no obligation to bet each round but you can bet on more than one horse at a time.
How do I win?
If your horse wins the race you will receive a proportion of the total takings. The fewer people who bet on the winner the more money you get!
How many races?
We are aiming for 6 races but we will have more if things move quickly!
It’ll be fun and social!
It’s good value for money!
We will raise funds for the school!

Each time you, or a member of your family, spends £30 in store you will receive a team GB sticker which you can hand in at the school office or give to your child’s teacher. When we have 300 stickers on our Kit for Schools poster, the school will receive an exclusive sports kit as well as the chance to win £20 000.
The promotion runs from 6th September until 3rd November so start collecting!
Inconsiderate parking and behaviour
We continue to receive complaints from the residents in Grove Wood Hill about the inconsiderate parking and behaviour of families. Residents are finding they cannot access or leave their property due to cars parked across their drives. In addition cars are parking with engines running, loud music playing and smoking/leaving cigarette butts in resident’s gardens. This is not acceptable behaviour or a good role model for the children of the school. Please be considerate of our neighbours and behave in a way we would want to encourage our children to.
