To celebrate the end of the Autumn Term the children will be rewarded with a class party and a games morning.
Thursday, 19th December
In the afternoon, each class will be having a class party in their own classrooms. Children have been asked to bring a small donation of food or drink, which has been assigned in class, to be shared during the party. Please do not send in food which needs to be refrigerated or which contains nuts. Children will still have their school lunch on this day, with the party food being an extra. Children will wear school uniform as normal on this day.
Friday, 20th December
On this day, the children will be having a games day where they will be able to choose to move between the three year 5 classrooms. 5T will show U rated films, 5H will have table top games and 5R will be an electronic games room. Furthermore, the children will be permitted to wear Christmas mufti.
Children will be allowed to bring in one item from home and this must be age appropriate (for under 11s). This may either be an electronic device or a table top game. We do not usually permit children to bring in I-pads /tablets. However, as this is an end of term celebration, we will, on this occasion, allow these items into school and into the classroom. Mobile phones will not be allowed.
Before you make your decisions about these items, we want to make you aware that the school has no insurance that will cover loss or damage to them and will take no responsibility for them. During any other sessions, at break and lunchtimes all electronic items will be locked into the cupboards.
All items should be clearly labelled with the children’s names including any chargers. Any unnamed items will remain locked in the cupboard. Children are only allowed 1 item per child. Children will not be allowed to connect to the internet, via Wi-Fi or 3G/4G. The children will not be able to take any photos on the devices. The children will be expected to take responsibility for their own toys.
As always, we would like to thank you for your continued support.
